About the Poet
Tiamerenla Monalisa Changkija is a journalist, poet, author and the former Editor of Nagaland Page.

This Silence is her third collection of poems. Weapons of Words on Pages of Pain was first published in 1993 (Write-On Publication) and the second edition was published in 2013 (Heritage Publishing House). The first edition of her second collection of poems Monsoon Mourning was published in 2007 (Write-On Publication) and the second edition was published in 2013 (Heritage Publishing House).

Changkija has also authored Cogitating for a Better Deal, a collection of essays on socio-political issues pertaining to Nagaland, published by Heritage Publishing House in 2014. Her non-fiction "Middles", another collection of socio-cultural and personal essays was published by Heritage Publishing House in 2018.
