Humchha Lowang, MA (Gold Medalist) in Economics, is the editor and the founder of Nocte Digest. Since he founded it in 2016, Nocte Digest has been successful in documenting many historical facts and relics of the Nocte tribe. Some of the most successful endeavours of Nocte Digest include the creation of a digital library and the acquirement of a Nocte vocabulary book, written in 1839, from the Beinecke Library of Yale University, USA. In 2021, Lowang became a member of the first government committee formed to recognise the Unsung Heroes of Arunachal Pradesh who fought against the British colonial rule. In September 2022, he joined Wangcha Rajkumar Govt. College, Deomali, as a Guest Faculty of Economics.
