ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
ELONGSHILA JAMIR is currently pursuing her Masters in English from Nagaland University, Kohima. She is an ardent lover of the works of Sylvia Plath, Albert Camus and Emily Dickinson. She has a deep fondness for nature, music and art. It Ends To Begin Again is her second collection of poems. Her debut book of poems titled Serendipity was published by Heritage Publishing House in 2021. Her poems are also published in NUSU annual magazine, NUEU newsletter and in an anthology titled Homegrown New Writings from Nagaland.

It Ends to Begin Again is a step forward in her writing journey. What goes on inside our heads, mentally, is an abstract web of tangled thoughts - inner voices that can sometimes play havoc and make things messy. It is not easy to navigate through this maze and find clarity, let alone express them concretely in words. It Ends to Begin Again explores the endless process of this mental anguish and the quintessential sense of loneliness of the creative artist. The mixed emotions caused by her thoughts come alive in words, taking shape in the imagery of the seasonal changes."
