COOKING DIRECTIONS
IN A PRESSURE COOKER:
- Add 1 cup of foxtail millet to 3 cups of normal rice (quantity of rice can also vary as one prefers)
- Rinse the mixed rice thoroughly
- Now cook it as how you would normally cook regular rice in the pressure cooker
INDIGRNOUS STYLE: ( ONLY MILLET)
- Take the amount of foxtail millet you want to cook
- Rinse it thoroughly
- Add the millet in the boiling water and let it cook for 5-10 minutes
- Strain out the excess water
- With the lids closed, cook the millet in a low flame for 20 -30 minutes
* Choose a heavy bottom pan for this process
