His service in the State Department of Agriculture from an Entomologist to his retirement as a Director.
His family and people that influenced him towards the making of a better person.
I. Panger Imchen was born in 1949 at Chungtia village, Mokokchung in a farming family. He studied till class VI at the village and went to Government High School Mokokchung for his high school. He did his PU at Science College Kohima and B.Sc. Agri from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka. He started his government service as an Entomologist (CL-II Gazetted) in the State Department of Agriculture in the year 1978 and retired as Director of Agriculture in the year 2013. He is married to Narola Jamir and is blessed with two sons, a daughter, two granddaughters and a grandson.
