The ChaiHouse is a tea plantation set up by an English tea planter's son.
It is a Community based tea business, working together with a small isolated village called Akumen, in Nagaland, which lays directly adjacent to Assam.
With untouched, chemical free forest soil and the advantage of a higher altitude, to neightbouring Assam, it lends itself for the perfect condition to grow the finest teas.
The forest garden tea leaves are all hand-picked by the community workers, from a single estate tea garden. The leaves are loaded with polyphenol antioxidants, including many catechins.
